I love white accessories, so much so I've got online baskets full of them, and the obsessions is just another obsession to add to the list of 'TRENDS I CAN'T GET OVER'. For a girl that used to own the very basic black handbag, black boots, black leather jacket...I feel like I've come a long way. I'm finally injecting white into my wardrobe and boy do I love it. This look has been one of my ultimate FAVOURITES recently, and the white accessory trend, also one of my favourites. Now a white bag to me, screams chic and sophisticated, something my style is every now and again. I adore the complete simplicity of pieces like this bag and feel like they elevate my outfit from 'meh okay' to 'yes I'm totally feeling this'. When it comes to bags, I've never been a big spender, but I'm forever after a bag that won't just last me a season but instead will be a forever piece, a staple bag that will go with my wardrobe in years to come. Usually you'd think of a black bag, when going down the staple route, but I honestly feel like the LWB (little white bag) is here to stay.
I've been loving the weather recently, finally feeling as though Spring is here and *fingers crossed the weather won't go too downhill. Spring outfits have plummeted their way to the front of my wardrobe, off the shoulder ruffled crop tops, floral print wide leg trousers, white heels and white statement sunglasses. Now I know I haven't blogged in a while, and this is the first week back after the best Easter break...why is it that the Easter weekend seems so long and why is it that it has to end? ( I am not in any way complaining!) I had the most amazing few days with my friends and family and was super sad to see it come to an end, and get back into the swing of work and that thing called 'reality'. However I can't deny my mood is happier and I'm feeling a lot more relaxed!
These trousers, also another thing that have put my mood slightly higher up the scale. I used to be completely against anything wide leg, back in the day when I didn't look past a pair of jeans and a t-shirt (I'd say I'm more adventurous now.) But the floral print and stripe section down the side has completely updated my Spring wardrobe, because everyone knows florals and spring just go hand in hand...right? The way the trousers have that sporty fit makes them super comfy and paired with a white block heel, somehow make me seem that little bit taller. I feel like they are a remastered version of something Sporty Spice would have worn (which I'm totally all for, I used to love the Spice Girls.) Paired with white accessories for that chic LA cool look. Oh how I wish I could be in Beverly Hills wearing this outfit!
